Eldora Children's Center
Staff Mission
Our staff of dedicated professionals will care for and about your children's individual needs, provide a positive experience, and work in partnership with families. Each staff are highly trained in CPR and First Aid, Universal Precautions, Mandatory Reporting, and 13 hours of "Essentials in Child Care" courses. Our Preschool Program teachers have the same trainings with an addition of a CDA certification.
Kendra Kendall
Director
I grew up in Eldora and graduated from South Hardin in 2011. I have a son, Carter, who was born in 2012. We enjoy swimming, reading together and exploring state and national parks! I graduated with a degree in Early Childhood Education in 2014. Also in 2014 I began working at Eldora Children’s Center where I have held many different roles. In 2018 I began my role as Director. I am beyond thankful and proud to provide this service to the families of our wonderful community.

Tiger Club
I grew up in Liscomb and currently live south of Eldora. I have been married to my highschool sweetheart since 2015. We have two amazing children, and a basset hound named Brock. Most summer/fall weekends you can find us camping or at the lake boating with our family. In my personal free time I enjoy making epoxied tumblers or fun decor signs. I started at the center March 2021.
Alesha Bartsch
Orange Room (1 year olds)
I am a life-long resident of Eldora. I had my daughter, Charlotte, in 2017. We enjoy reading and getting out in nature! It’s been so much fun watching all the kids learn! It’s truly my pleasure. I started at the center in 2018.
Kayleigh Youngman
Green Room (2 year olds)
I live in Eldora and have my whole life. I married my husband Matt in 2017. Together we have three kids; Lexi, Easton, and Croix. We enjoy all things outdoors from fishing and hunting to going on walks and gardening. I am excited for our new adventure! I started at the center July 2020.

I graduated from Ellsworth Community College in 2017 with an Associates in Art. I have a little family of my own. Just me, my husband, and our daughter, Lilian, born January 2020. I am more than thankful for the opportunity to form relationships with each and every child! I started at the center May 2017, took the position of Assistant Director June 2020, and began teaching the Preschool Program August 2020.

Before moving to Eldora, I lived in Maryland. I’ve always been involved in childcare in one fashion or another. I started babysitting as a teenager then opened my own in home daycare while my children were little. As they grew, I took a position as a nanny. I am here to support you in any way you need me to. I started at the center in 2009.
Marissa Stocks
Purple Room (4+ year olds)
Some may know me as Marissa Hanson. I graduated in 2005. I was born and raised here in Eldora. I married my husband Skyler in 2011 on our 3 year anniversary. Together we have 3 beautiful children; Carter, Ryker, and Karleigh. I went to college for cosmetology and had my own salon in New Providence. Being able to work and be with my children has always been a dream. Being able to see them and all of the other kids grow has been amazing. I always say there is a purpose in life and I think one of mine is to be around children to help them grow into great adults. I started at the center November 2022.

I graduated from South Hardin in
2020 and will graduate from college with a degree in business. When the center first opened I started as one of the students. Now I have the wonderful opportunity to be working here. I enjoy working with your bright children. They always manage to make me giggle and put a smile on my face. I am thankful to be working at such a brilliant facility. I started at the center in June 2019.
Jenna Roling

I’m a high school student, who will be graduating in 2023. I’ve lived in Eldora all my life. I enjoy watching movies, hanging out with my friends, and learning all about the kids, and see their faces light up. I started at the center June 2021.
Katelyn Kane
All Ages
I grew up in Eldora and spent a good chunk of my time as a child at ECC! I am now in high school and will graduate in 2024. I have always enjoyed babysitting and working with children, and I plan to do so for a long time because it is so special to me. I started at the center in June 2022 and have worked at a children's summer camp since 2021.
Sarah McMullen
All Ages
My family and I moved to Eldora early 2022 from Peoria, IL. I have two children: Danny and Aura, and two cats: Scooby-Doo and Nala. We enjoy being outside and spending time together. We love being silly and having fun. Singing and dancing is a daily occurance in our family. I started at the center in January 2023.
Gabby Liesener

I am a life long resident of Eldora. I have two sons, Greyson and Gunner, who are my whole world! We enjoy reading, going on walks, and being outside all summer/fall long. Prior to working at ECC I was a CNA. I started working at the center in December 2022. I am so excited for this new adventure and to get the opportunity to watch all your kids learn and grow.
